In My Own Skin

My clothes are always in conversation with my life, and right now they reflect my role as Mummy, my comfort, and my creativity. After experiencing the numerology year nine, a year of completion, shedding, and personal chaos. I am ready to step forward as me again: present, centred, and open to an outlet that echoes that.

Right now, I am fully immersed in embodying habits that provide stability: a quiet, grounded morning; movement that feels good; food that sings flavour; gentle alignment with myself. I’m fully in a Soph moment: simple, intentional, fun.

That mood is showing up throughout my life and manifesting at home and in what I wear. Forever coats layered over considered basics. Denim, wide-leg flowing jersey or cargo trousers, light knits and skimming tees. Colourful Adidas or Solomons most days; chunky ballet pumps when I want things a little more considered.

Barely-there accessories create cohesion: a semi-precious pendant — dalmatian jasper for playfulness and joy, or red agate for grounding; a simple bag in an accent tone; sunglasses to give a hint of contrast and a belt to harmonize the pieces.

It’s pared back but not unstructured. Considered without being contrived. A blend of what life calls from me, whilst still feeling like me too.

The Clothes in Conversation:

·         Forever coats that move with me

·         Wide-leg flowing jersey or cargo trousers

·         Light knits and skimming tees

·         Salomons most days; suede boots or chunky ballet pumps when I want a little more considered

·         Pendants that whisper joy or grounding — dalmatian jasper, red agate

·         Simple bag in an accent tone

·         Cap or belt to anchor and harmonize

Each piece chosen not to impress, but to support the person I am today — grounded, playful, and fully myself.
